It's been almost two years since I've watched live primetime TV. We record a few shows (House, CSI, Sarah Connor Chronicles, 30 Rock, etc.) but we have yet to watch them.
Surprisingly enough, I don't miss the shows at all. The moniker does make sense. TV does nothing to improve one's well-being. I actually regret wasting all those hours glued to the tube when I could have done something more worthwhile, like pick up a good book.
Thankfully, I haven't turned into a boob yet. At least I don't think so! But more on that next time.

I feel the same way about watching tv shows but I do my ironing, folding laundry etc near it so I get entertained. Boring chores get interesting and I don't feel too useless just sitting there watching tv. I am a bit of TV addict though, ever since pa. Taguchi used to say my life can be summarised with TV show one liners.
P.S. I'm still getting used to the Sarah Connor Chronicles, we've only had two episodes here. We watch it cause Justin's next wife is there (Summer Glau the cyborg, we met her sa comic con diri)
Not interested in SCC at all. It's David's show. Also tried watching Bionic Woman. Eh. Lost? Eh. Heroes? Eh. Barney & Friends? Now we're talking! Just kidding. Maayo gani dili mahilig akong anak manan-aw ug TV.

we don't have cable at home so my primetime TV experience is very limited. CSI is one of my favorites. I'm also into Cashmere Mafia now. It's like Sex in the City, with less sex and more nuanced characters.
ANTM and American Idol are the only shows I kind of follow. Hehe.... I don't watch a lot of TV either.
I really want to start watching CSI again, but I find it too gruesome (grissom?) now.
I also used to watch ANTM, but missed the last cycle so i stopped watching it altogether. Plus I think i've had it with tyra.
