On Friday morning, July 13th, I pledged my Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America. I am now officially an American citizen. It took us six years to get to this point. I'm so glad it's over. No more paperwork, interviews, and proving to the government that we are, in fact, legitimately--and happily--married. Next up, voter's registration.

did i have to pay? in the words of napoleon dynamite, heck yes i did! not cheap either. but i shouldn't complain--they just raised the fees again to insane amounts.
